Pharrell Explains Meaning of Upcoming Album Titled 'GIRL'
Ladies, if you weren’t a fan of Pharrell before, this should get you on the bandwagon. Turns out the mega producer named his upcoming album GIRL because he has nothing but love for women, and more than just in the superficial.
Backstage at the Brit Awards before his performance, Skateboard P explained the title’s meaning, and well, it’s pretty heavy.
I admire women in a lot of ways, but I needed to make sure that everyone knew that. On the surface, I do look and I do like them and I appreciate them in my little dirty ways here and there, but at the core, is what I’m telling you. We need them. Every living breathing human being on this planet regardless to your sexual orientation benefits from two things from a woman: the agreement to enter the act and the agreement to have you. So they have the power.”
GIRL arrives on March 3.
Fact: The 1990s was the best decade to be a kid.
Constant flow of toy commercials. (The best toys might I add). Saturday morning cartoons, after-school shows. family-friendly sitcoms, and tv programs (Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, PBS, etc) were in their prime. Kid movies galore. Everything was geared towards us.
